Wesley Solomon is a strategic public health and digital health systems expert with over 20 years of experience working across sub-Saharan Africa and abroad. As Director and Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry Lead at Deloitte Africa, Wesley brings deep technical and leadership experience at the intersection of clinical quality improvement, health system efficiency, and digital transformation.

Regionally, Wesley has supported Ministries of Health in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, and beyond to implement interoperability standards, strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems, and deliver more agile, data-informed services. His leadership has been instrumental in developing national frameworks for electronic data collection, aligning digital tools with policy objectives, and ensuring health information translates into real-time action.He has served as a trusted advisor on health systems strengthening initiatives including the National Health Insurance rollout, the Health Information Systems Strengthening and PMTCT and HIV quality assurance efforts under PEPFAR. Through these roles, he has contributed to the improvement on how governments and partners measure success, monitor equity, and use data to deliver smarter, more sustainable health services.Wesley also brings experience in climate and health, supporting readiness assessments and resilience planning as part of broader efforts to future-proof health systems.
