Dr Tony Booysen

Tony's qualifications include MBChB (Stell), DA (SA) and MBA cum laude (UCT), with additional certifications as both a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Lean Master Practitioner.

His career span includes clinical practice, primarily within Anaesthesiology; management consulting within the healthcare, health insurance, manufacturing and retail sectors; and senior management roles in both the public and private healthcare sectors within administration at both facility and regional levels, health technology assessment, and research & development on value-based healthcare products.

His special interests include data science towards informing decision-making across strategic, systemic, and operational levels; and leading team-driven continuous improvement initiatives in the delivery of healthcare outcomes excellence.
