Ms Peggy Naicker

Peggy Naicker is a Digital Transformation Manager at Lenmed Group.

She began her digital transformation journey in 2021, inspired by the many opportunities and experiences she gained during her nursing career. Having worked in national and international acute care settings over the years, she acquired valuable insights that she still uses today when reflecting on and advising in her current role, where she facilitates transformation and change projects within the business.

Peggy has spoken at various conferences and workshops and has contributed to textbooks and journal publications. Notably, she contributed to two books released in 2024: "Health Information Systems in Nursing" and "Occupational Health Management & Practice." She has received numerous awards throughout her career, most notably the Rising Star award from UNISA upon completing her Master’s degree, which enabled her to present at an STTI symposium in Las Vegas. In 2007.

Peggy transitioned into nursing education, which expanded her understanding of global healthcare policies and challenges. This experience also sparked her interest in technology, particularly in its role in advancing patient-centric care.

Peggy holds a master’s degree in arts (health sciences), a postgraduate diploma in Business Management, and, in recent years, earned certification in Digital Transformation and Change Management through UCT. She is also passionate about healthy living and is a trained health transformation coach.
