Mr Clive Daniell

Since 1996 my focus has been the PACS, RIS industry, installing the first digital department in South Africa at Little Company of Mary hospital in Pretoria. Since then, I have worked continuously in the PACS, RIS industry being involved in the design, implementation, project management and training of many PACS, RIS projects. 

In 2006 I started my own consulting company called In2pacs, to offer an independent view of PACS and RIS in South Africa and Africa.  I joined the South African Health Informatics Association (SAHIA) in July 2013 to bring my experience in Imaging informatics to the general health informatics domain.  My expertise in healthcare interoperability standards includes DICOM, HL7 and IHE.
